- Strawberry box cake (plus whatever ingredients the mix calls for)
- 14 oz condensed milk
- 12 oz evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 8 oz cool whip
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup sugar
- fresh strawberries
Bake your strawberry cake according to the box instructions in a sheet cake style.
While your cake is baking, mix together the 3 milks and set aside. Once out of the oven and fully cooled, poke the cake all over with a fork, then pour over your milk mixture.
Cover the cake, pop it in the fridge, and let the milk soak into the cake for about 30 minutes.
Once the milk is fully soaked, mix the cool whip, sugar, and vanilla, and spread it onto the top of the cake. Refrigerate for 1 hour or more.
Add sliced strawberries to the top of the icing just before serving. Enjoy cold!
