Steak & Roasted Pear Salad


  • NY Strip Steaks
  • 4 oz arugula
  • 2 pears
  • 4 tsp balsamic vinaigrette
  • croutons
  • 4 oz ricotta
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Set your oven to 400 degrees. Slice pears, toss them in olive oil, salt, and pepper, lay them out on a baking sheet and place in oven. Bake 8-10 minutes, then flip slices, and bake another 10-15 minutes, until edges are slightly crispy. 

Season steak with salt and pepper, cook in pan on medium-high heat, adding some butter halfway through cooking. Baste steak with butter once melted, and cook to desired doneness. Let rest before slicing.

In a large bowl, mix balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Toss in arugula and croutons until coated. 

Plate the salad and top with ricotta and pears, then add steak slices. Enjoy!
